The song was extensively used in the openings, promotions and broadcastings of the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile during the decades of the 1980s and 1990s. Although its use has been discontinued, the song is still associated with the annual event in the country. Previously, in Brazil, it was the opening theme of Silvio Santos' show ''Porta da Esperança'', aired in the 80s by SBT. The song can also be heard in Charles Stone III's 2002 film "''DrumLine.''"
